Short description: Wilderness
Safari with KTM EXC 250cc (seat height: 845mm), suitable for beginners
as long as they are taller than 1,68 m. Offroad beginners
have the choice to go on gravel roads and easy tracks. For experienced
offroad riders there is a choice of different terrain. Visit the spectacularly
remote country of the midnight sun, enjoy exhilarating fun and tranquillity.
End each day with a relaxing finnish sauna.
Price per person, double occupancy: 1600 € / $2200 US (excluding
flights to Rovaniemi/Finland).

Day 1
Guide will meet tourparticipants at Rovaniemi airport.
Transfer to Luosto (1h15min).
Accommodation in Scandic Hotel’s cabins, 2 persons sharing
a room.
Dinner in the worlds largest log restaurant.
Day 2
Meeting at the safari house. Instructions and safety
rules by male finnish tourguide Tapsa assisted by Towanda Women tour
guide. Changing
into safari equipment (all equipment provided). Start for the
safari towards east.
Lunch in Mattila’s Reindeer Farm.
Safari continues to Nuttio, old lumberjack’s house.
Sauna and swim, dinner and shared accommodation. (Linen will be
provided).
Day 3
After breakfast full day safari in surroundings
of Kaarestunturi fell.
Camp lunch around open fire. Late in the afternoon return to Nuttio.
Sauna and swim, dinner and shared accommodation.
Day 4
Free day in Nuttio. Option: Guided Nordic Walking
Tour in the woods. Coffee break during the trip. Lunch in the big
kota (teepee) of
Nuttio. Sauna and swim, dinner and shared accommodation.
Day 5
After breakfast safari towards Gold Village Tankavaara.
Lunch on the way in Peurasuvanto restaurant.
Arrival to Tankavaara, then accommodation and visit to the Gold
museum and every one can do some Gold panning. (This year they
found piece
of gold in Lapland, worth over € 300.000).
Dinner in restaurant of Gold Village. Overnight in basic cabins,
2 persons sharing a cabin.
Day 6
Breakfast in Gold Village. Safari towards Beanaruoktu
Husky Farm.
Camp lunch around open fire. Accommodation in nearby Husky Farm.
Dinner at the Farm. Possibility to visit at the Husky Farm.
Day 7
After breakfast we are heading back to Luosto. Lunch
in the old village of Suvanto.
Arrival to Luosto in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation
in cabins of Scandic Hotel.
Optional in the afternoon: visit to Amethyst Mine, Nordic
Walk in the forests of Luosto, horse back riding in the
forest.
Day 8
Transfer to Rovaniemi Airport, Departure.
